What does it mean to see when you can’t quite rely on your own vision? In a photo essay written by Lauren Daccache for Byline we explored and played with images that were difficult to see, leaning on her experiences as a colorblind photographer. Apricots that blend into the background, ice that glows then disappears.

TRECCANI EMPORIUM TRECCANI EMPORIUM TRECCANI EMPORIUM TRECCANI EMPORIUM
Treccani is an Italian encyclopedia that has been published since 1929. In 2022, they asked Studio Dude to refresh their Treccani Emporium instagram — a place where they share their digital store of Italian culture, which includes posters, books, and design objects.
Design needed to adress the legacy of the company, highlight the quality of the product, and give historical context for famous Italian designs.
